Walk-in Interviews Announced for Census 2027 Enumerators in Bengaluru South Corporation

Bengaluru South City Corporation has announced walk-in interviews to recruit approximately 1,745 enumerators for Census 2027 operations, including house listing and population enumeration phases.

• Walk-in Interview Date: April 22, 2026 (Wednesday)

• Time: 9:00 AM onwards

• Interview Locations:

Joint Commissioner Office, Bommanahalli Zone

• Shashwati Auditorium, NMKRV College, Jayanagar 3rd Block

• Total Positions: Approximately 1,745 enumerators

• Work Scope:

Phase 1: House listing and housing census (ongoing from April 16, 2026 to May 15, 2026)

• Phase 2: Population enumeration scheduled in February 2027

• Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum qualification: 2nd PUC or higher

• Must own a smartphone with at least Android 12 and 4GB RAM

• Preference:

Residents of Bommanahalli and Jayanagar zones

• Work Requirement:

Must be available continuously, including holidays, until May 15, 2026

• Honorarium:

₹9,000 for Phase 1 (150–200 households)

• ₹16,000 for Phase 2 (150–200 households / 750–800 population)

• Training:

Selected candidates will receive training on census mobile application and enumeration procedures

• Appointment Authority:

Selection is subject to the discretion of the Commissioner, Bengaluru South City Corporation
