Special Cleanliness Drive Covers Flyovers and Underpasses in Central Corporation

Bengaluru Central City Corporation conducted a large-scale cleanliness drive under Swachh Survekshan 2025–26, covering multiple flyovers and underpasses to improve urban sanitation and city rankings.

Key Details:

• 20 flyovers cleaned along with surrounding areas

• 8 underpasses cleaned

• Approximately 4 tons of waste cleared

• Initiative is part of Phase 5 of the Swachh Survekshan 2025–26 campaign

• Focus on high-footfall areas including major junctions, schools, and colleges

• Daily cleanliness and hygiene maintenance emphasized

• Total personnel involved: 495

• 334 Pourakarmikas (civic workers)

• 161 auto tipper drivers and sanitation staff
