Bengaluru East City Corporation has seized six vehicles allegedly involved in the illegal transportation and dumping of solid waste on vacant land near Siddartha Layout in Kadugodi. An FIR has been registered at Kadugodi Police Station, and legal action has been initiated against those involved.

- Bengaluru East City Corporation Commissioner D.S. Ramesh announced the seizure of six vehicles involved in illegal waste dumping activities.
- The incident occurred in Kadugodi, within the Mahadevapura Assembly Constituency.
- Officials found that waste was being dumped near the Dakshina Pinakini River adjoining Survey Nos. 130, 131, and 142 near Siddartha Layout.
- According to the Corporation, a group led by Naushad and others allegedly used fake identification cards in the name of an authorized waste collection agency, Eco Sphere Waste Solutions, to collect bulk waste illegally.
- A special enforcement operation was conducted following public complaints and surveillance by Corporation officials.
- Five vehicles were seized during an operation on 29 May 2026, while a sixth vehicle was seized on 30 May 2026.
- Drivers of some vehicles reportedly fled the spot after noticing officials.
