Siddaramaiah (born August 12, 1948) is an Indian politician and economist who serves as the Chief Minister of Karnataka. A senior leader of the Indian National Congress, he is one of the state’s most prominent backward-class leaders and a two-time chief minister known for his welfare-oriented governance.
