Removal Drive of Dry and Dangerous Trees Across Corporation Limits: Rajendra Cholan
The Bengaluru Central City Corporation conducts a special drive to remove dry and dangerous trees and branches to ensure public safety.

Under the directions of the Commissioner, Rajendra Cholan, the Forest Wing of the Bengaluru Central City Corporation has undertaken a special drive to remove dry and dangerous trees, as well as hazardous branches, from roads, parks, and lakes across all six Assembly constituencies within the Corporation limits.
The drive has been in progress from 02-09-2025 to date, with public safety as the foremost priority.

This proactive drive has been undertaken by the Forest Division to prevent potential accidents caused by dry and structurally weak trees and branches, thereby safeguarding public life and property.
The Corporation has stated that similar inspections and preventive measures will continue in the coming months to ensure sustained public safety.
