Reception of Pura Jyothi Marks Kempegowda Jayanti Celebrations by Bengaluru North City

The Bengaluru North City Corporation (BNCC) received the Pura Jyothi from Avathi Chennakeshava Temple and Hutridurga Bayalu Basavanna Temple as part of the celebrations commemorating the 517th Birth Anniversary of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda. The ceremonial procession honoured Kempegowda’s enduring legacy and contributions to Bengaluru.

Key Details:

• The Pura Jyothi from Chennakeshava Temple, Avathi Village was ceremonially received and taken in a procession to the event venue.

• A second Pura Jyothi from Bayalu Basavanna Temple, Hutridurga was also received and brought to the programme venue.

• The celebrations were organised as part of the 517th Birth Anniversary of Nadaprabhu Kempegowda.

• The event paid tribute to Kempegowda’s vision, leadership, and contributions to public administration and city building.
