Raichur Reporters Guild Announces Results of State-Level Short Story and Poetry Competition

The Raichur Reporters Guild has announced the winners of its state-level short story and poetry competition, organized as part of its Silver Jubilee celebrations. Journalists from across Karnataka participated, with entries from Raichur district and several other districts receiving top honors.

• Second Prize: ₹3,000

• Third Prize: ₹2,000

• Entries receiving the judges’ appreciation will be awarded ₹1,000 each.

Award Ceremony

The winners will be felicitated during the Raichur Reporters Guild Silver Jubilee celebrations, scheduled for the last week of August. The Guild also announced that the winning stories and poems, along with selected entries recognized by the judges, will be published in a commemorative book.

Raichur Reporters Guild President Vijay Jagatgal announced the results during a press conference held at the Press Club in Raichur. General Secretary Venkatesh Hoogar, Joint Secretary Shrikant Savoor, and Guild members were also present.
