Bengaluru North City Corporation (BNCC) has issued a public advisory regarding dangerous buildings and unsafe compound walls across multiple wards in Pulakeshinagar Division as part of pre-monsoon preparedness measures. Citizens have been urged to report hazardous structures to officials immediately.

• BNCC Commissioner Shri Pommala Sunil Kumar has directed precautionary inspections ahead of the monsoon season.

• Private schools

• Government buildings

• Private buildings

• Compound walls identified as unsafe

• Ward 39 – Kaval Byrasandra

• Ward 40 – Shakti Nagar

• Ward 41 – Periyar Nagar

• Ward 43 – Varalakshmi Nagar

Public Advisory:

Citizens have been requested to immediately report any:

• Cracked or leaning compound walls

• Unsafe structures posing risk to public safety

Instructions to Property Owners

Owners of private schools, buildings and compound walls identified as unsafe have been instructed to:

• Repair or remove dangerous structures immediately

• Bear repair costs independently

• Implement necessary safety precautions

BNCC has warned that property owners will be held directly responsible for accidents caused due to negligence.
