Property Tax Auction for 81 Properties in North City Corporation Postponed After No Bids

The Bengaluru North City Corporation postponed the auction process for 81 properties with pending property tax dues totaling ₹1.94 crore after no bidders came forward during the scheduled auction at Yelahanka Mini Vidhana Soudha.

• The Bengaluru North City Corporation (BNCC) scheduled an auction on 13 March to recover ₹1.94 crore in property tax arrears.

• The auction involved 81 properties located in Zone–1 and Zone–2 of the corporation.

• The auction was conducted at the 3rd Floor Hall of Yelahanka Mini Vidhana Soudha.

• The process was carried out as per directions of Commissioner Pommala Sunil Kumar.

• The auction was conducted in the presence of:

Additional Commissioner (Revenue)

• Joint Commissioners of Zone–1 and Zone–2

• Deputy Commissioners of the respective zones.

• Despite more than five bidders attending the auction, none submitted bids for the listed properties.

• As a result, the auction process has been postponed.

• Authorities confirmed that the 81 properties will remain under the custody of the corporation, and the auction will be conducted again at a later date.

• Officials also noted that the auction had previously been scheduled on 6 March, but was postponed then as well due to lack of bidders.
