“MOTI” Community Dog Adoption Program Launched at Cubbon Park

Bengaluru Central City Corporation launched the “MOTI – Movement of Trust & Inclusion” initiative at Cubbon Park to promote community dog adoption, animal welfare, and public awareness through activities involving citizens and children.

Key Details:

• The “MOTI” program was organised on May 03 at 8:00 AM at Cubbon Park

• Initiative aims to encourage adoption of community (Indie) dogs and promote coexistence

• Development Additional Commissioner Daljit Kumar inaugurated the event

• Water bowls were placed for dogs to address summer heat concerns

• Public urged to keep water bowls in homes and public spaces

• Dogathon (walkathon) conducted with participation from citizens, NGOs, and animal lovers

• “Paint with Puppies” activity engaged children using paw-print art

• Certificates distributed to participating children

• Four community dogs adopted during the event

• Adopted dogs received vaccinations and adoption kits (food, collar, chain, water bowl)
