Bengaluru West City Corporation reviewed monsoon preparedness with directives issued for drainage works, pothole repairs, flood response planning, and infrastructure readiness ahead of the rainy season.

• Commissioner Dr. Rajendra K.V. chaired a review meeting with Engineering Department officials on April 7

• Engineers instructed to take precautionary measures to prevent water stagnation

• Identification of waterlogging-prone areas to be completed in advance

• Desilting and cleaning of storm water drains (SWD) and shoulder drains prioritized

• AEE-level control rooms to be set up for monsoon response
