As part of the Swachh Survekshan 2025–26 initiative, Bengaluru North City Corporation conducted the fourth day of its week-long Mega Cleanliness Drive on March 4. A total of 104 tonnes of green and dry leaf waste were cleared across wards with participation from citizens, RWAs, and volunteers.

  • The Mega Cleanliness Drive for a Beautiful City is being conducted across 7 divisions of North City Corporation from March 1, 2026.
  • The campaign aims to promote cleanliness, improve public health, and encourage citizen participation in maintaining public spaces.

818 participants including RWAs, citizens, and volunteers took part.

  • Cleaning activities focused on removing green and dry leaves from public areas across all wards.
  • Approximately 104 tonnes of waste were cleared.
  • Commissioner Sri Pommala Sunil Kumar visited wards in the Yelahanka Division and inspected the activities.
  • During the visit, he interacted with residents, listened to local concerns, and directed officials to address public issues.
