Karnataka Government to Introduce Mandatory Karyatva App Check-Out System for Employees

The Government of Karnataka has directed all state government officers and employees to use the Karyatva App for attendance management. From 10:00 AM on 6 June 2026, employees are required to perform both Check-In and Check-Out through the application.

Key Details:

  • The order follows a meeting held on 4 June 2026 regarding attendance and biometric systems.
  • Government employees are already marking attendance through the HRMS system.
  • In addition, employees must now use the Karyatva App to record:

Check-In

  • Check-Out
  • Departments, corporations, boards, local bodies and district-level offices have been instructed to implement the system.
  • Employees are advised to verify successful Check-Out before leaving office.
  • A demonstration video for using the Karyatva (KAAMS) App has been made available through the official YouTube link shared by the government.
  • The government has also stated that an AI-based monitoring mechanism will be used to identify irregularities and ensure compliance.
