Commissioner’s Statement
BNCC Commissioner Shri Pommala Sunil Kumar stated that rising temperatures in Bengaluru require greater focus on the health and wellbeing of civic workers.
He noted that climate conditions in Bengaluru have changed significantly over time and stressed the importance of environmental responsibility for future generations.
The Commissioner also directed officials and civic workers to strengthen solid waste management efforts and encouraged effective use of cooling kits during summer.
