HDFC Bank Donates Road Sweeping Machine to Bengaluru East City Corporation

A self-propelled road sweeping machine was handed over to Bengaluru East City Corporation (BECC) by HDFC Bank under its CSR initiative to strengthen mechanized urban cleaning and sanitation efforts.

Key Details:

• HDFC Bank (Koramangala 1st Block Branch) handed over a self-propelled road sweeping machine to BECC under CSR

• The initiative was inaugurated by BECC Commissioner D.S. Ramesh

• The machine model is TPS-VACSWEEP-5000 SPF, powered by an Ashok Leyland engine

• Designed for cleaning municipal roads, parking areas, and paved surfaces

• Key specifications include:

Power: 118 kW / 158 HP

• Hopper Capacity: 5.0–6.0 cubic meters

• Water Tank Capacity: 400 liters

• Sweeping Width: 3500 mm

• Travel Speed: Up to 40 km/h

• Sweeping Speed: 4–10 km/h

• Equipped with vacuum suction system, pleated filters, and high-pressure water jetting system

• Commissioner reviewed and operated the machine during the event

• Officials emphasized the role of mechanized cleaning in improving urban sanitation
