Bengaluru North City Corporation (BNCC) Commissioner Shri Pommala Sunil Kumar directed Revenue Department officials to ensure prompt disposal of public grievances related to Khata services, property tax, and e-Aasti applications. The instructions were issued during a Revenue Department review meeting held at the Commissioner’s Office on May 8.

  • A Revenue Department review meeting was chaired by BNCC Commissioner Shri Pommala Sunil Kumar. Discussions focused on:

Disposal of e-Aasti applications

  • B-Khata to A-Khata conversion
  • Property tax collection
  • Other Revenue Department services
  • Officials were instructed to improve efficiency and service delivery for citizens.

“Namma Khata Andolana” From May 16:

  • An Open House Counter programme titled “Namma Khata Andolana” will begin from May 16.
  • Open House Counters will be conducted every Saturday at subdivision level offices.
  • Timings: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
  • The initiative follows directions issued by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister.

Services Covered Under the Programme:

  • Public grievances related to the following services will be addressed:

Property tax

  • e-Khata
  • New Khata
  • Khata correction
  • Khata invalidation
  • B-Khata to A-Khata conversion
  • Khata amalgamation
  • Multi-unit apartment Khata services

Instructions Issued to Officials:

  • Officials were directed to resolve applications on the spot wherever documents are complete.
  • Applicants with incomplete documentation must be informed in writing regarding pending requirements.
  • Such applications must be resolved within 15 days.
  • Revenue Officers and Assistant Revenue Officers were instructed to identify technical issues in thee-Khata software and submit a report by Monday.
