Fallen Tree Clearance Work Intensified Across Bengaluru Central City Corporation

Bengaluru Central City Corporation has directed officials to accelerate the removal of fallen trees and branches caused by rain and strong winds. Preventive action has also been ordered to identify and remove dangerous and dried trees and branches across public spaces.

• Commissioner Jagadish G. has instructed the Forest Department to speed up the clearance of fallen trees and branches.

• Quick-response teams have been directed to reach affected locations immediately and restore public movement.

• The move aims to prevent traffic congestion in Bengaluru’s densely populated and heavily trafficked areas.

• Officials have been asked to prepare division-wise lists of hazardous and dried trees and branches.

• Preventive removal will be carried out in parks, roads, playgrounds, public spaces and other locations within the corporation limits.
