Bengaluru North City Corporation organized a “Compost Santhe” awareness programme at Bande Park, Ward 27 – Banaswadi as part of the Swachh Survekshan 2025–26 campaign. Around 1,500 citizens, students, and volunteers participated in the event promoting waste segregation, composting, and eco-friendly alternatives.

  • Participation: 1823 RWA members
  • 35.65 tonnes of waste cleared
  • 81 vacant sites cleaned

02 March 2026

  • Participation: 1476 RWAs, citizens and volunteers
  • 39 plogging drives conducted
  • 20.5 tonnes of waste cleared

03 March 2026

  • 67 GVP elimination and blackspot beautification drives
  • Participation: 1263 volunteers
  • 87 tonnes of waste cleared

04 March 2026

  • Citywide dry and green leaf clearance drive
  • Participation: 818 citizens
  • 104 tonnes of waste cleared

05 March 2026

  • Footpath walk programme conducted across all divisions
  • Participation: 2839 citizens, volunteers and students
  • Distance covered: 72.68 km

06 March 2026

  • 2065 students from 46 schools participated in:
