The Bengaluru West City Corporation Commissioner has directed officials and contractors to complete all pending civil works under the Chief Minister’s Infrastructure Development Programme (CMIDP) and Capital Support for Special Infrastructure Projects (CSSIP) within one month. The review meeting also focused on improving footpaths, road safety, drain maintenance, and solid waste management across the corporation.

- Commissioner Dr. Rajendra K.V. reviewed the progress of CMIDP (ward roads) and CSSIP (arterial and sub-arterial roads) works.
- All civil works, including roads, footpaths, and drains, must be completed within one month.
- Officials were instructed to achieve 100% completion of drain desilting, curb repairs, and footpath improvements.
- The Additional Commissioner has been directed to inspect all CMIDP civil works and submit a report.
- Road potholes must be repaired before asphalt works begin.
- Grass pavers should be installed around trees, and broken tree stumps must be removed.
- Engineers must ensure footpaths are free from encroachments and properly maintained.
- Contractors have been instructed to deploy adequate manpower while maintaining construction quality.

During a separate meeting on Solid Waste Management, the Commissioner directed officials to take strict action to eliminate garbage black spots across the corporation limits.
