Bengaluru South City Corporation Commissioner K. N. Ramesh inspected the Corporation Pre-University College in Uttarahalli and directed officials to strengthen infrastructure and introduce initiatives aimed at improving students’ learning outcomes.



Key Details:
- Commissioner K. N. Ramesh visited the Corporation PU College in Uttarahalli on June 11.
- The college recorded a 73.88% pass percentage in the II PU annual examination for the academic year 2025-26.
- Assistant Director of Education Venkata Krishnappa presented the academic performance details.
- Of the 134 students who appeared for the examination, 99 students passed.
- Stream-wise results:
Science: 52.17%
- Commerce: 87.14%
- Arts: 63.41%
- Six students secured distinction and emerged as the college toppers.
- Admissions for the academic year 2026-27 are in progress.
- A total of 221 students have enrolled:
First PU: 126 students
- Second PU: 95 students
Learning Enhancement Measures
The Commissioner instructed the college administration to conduct:
- Weekly debate competitions.
- Elocution programmes.
- Motivational and guidance sessions by expert teachers.
- Activities aimed at improving students’ participation and learning capabilities.
Infrastructure Development Directions
Officials have been asked to submit proposals for:
- Additional desks and furniture.
- Flooring repairs.
- Replacement of damaged window glass.
- Housekeeping arrangements for classrooms and toilets.
- Playground cleaning.
- Other essential infrastructure improvements ahead of the new academic year.
