BNCC Clears 8.60 km of Footpath Encroachments Across Five Divisions

The Bengaluru North City Corporation (BNCC) continued its footpath encroachment clearance drive on July 13, removing encroachments across five divisions. A total of 8.60 km of footpaths were cleared to improve pedestrian safety and accessibility.

Division-wise Clearance

• Byatarayanapura Constituency – Around 3.00 km of footpath cleared on Kogilu Main Road, from Bellahalli Junction to Nayara Petrol Bunk.

• Pulakeshinagar Constituency – Around 1.00 km cleared on Tannery Road, from Doddi Circle to Periyar Circle.

• Sarvagnanagar Constituency – Around 0.80 km cleared on 5th Cross Road, from Indira Canteen to KPTCL 10th Main Road.

• Yelahanka Constituency – Around 3.00 km cleared on Kogilu Cross Main Road.

• Dasarahalli Constituency – Around 0.80 km cleared in Kirloskar Layout.

• 92 sheets, canopies and projections removed

• 98 steps and ramps removed

• 83 advertisement boards removed
