BESCOM Wins Overall Championship at Inter-ESCOM Sports Meet 2025–26 in Bengaluru

BESCOM emerged as the overall champion at the Inter-ESCOM Sports Meet (2025–26), held on July 7 and 8 at the Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru. Employees from Karnataka’s power utilities participated in the two-day event, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and employee well-being.

• Overall Champions: BESCOM (1st Place)

• Runners-Up: CESC (2nd Place)

• The sports meet was conducted on July 7 and 8, 2025, at Kanteerava Indoor Stadium, Bengaluru.

• Participants represented BESCOM, MESCOM, GESCOM, HESCOM, CESCOM, and KPTCL.

• The event was inaugurated by Dr. N. Shivashankar, Managing Director, BESCOM.

• Addressing participants, the BESCOM Managing Director highlighted the importance of maintaining physical and mental well-being alongside professional responsibilities and encouraged employees to actively participate in sports.
