Additional Staff to Be Deployed for Ejipura Flyover Completion by October: Maheshwar Rao

Greater Bengaluru Authority Chief Commissioner Maheshwar Rao has directed contractors to deploy additional manpower and accelerate work on the Ejipura Flyover project to ensure completion of the main flyover by the end of October.

Key Details:

• The review meeting was held regarding the Ejipura Flyover project under the Bengaluru South City Corporation of the Greater Bengaluru Authority.

• Contractors were instructed to increase staff and labour deployment to meet project deadlines.

• The BESCOM RMU near the Madivala-side ramp construction area must be relocated immediately.

• Three trees opposite Kendriya Sadan are to be removed within four days to enable ramp construction.

• Domlur-side down-ramp work has reached 70% completion.

• Remaining Domlur-side ramp work must be completed within 15 days.

• Sarjapur-side down-ramp construction will begin after completion of the Domlur-side work.

• Launching of four spans near Ejipura Signal junction has commenced and must be completed within two months.

• Five portal frames are to be completed as part of the accelerated construction plan.

• Officials were instructed to immediately repair potholes near the flyover construction zone.

• Side drains near the project area must be desilted ahead of the monsoon season.

• Preventive measures against waterlogging and proper streetlight functioning were also directed.
