24/7 Maternity Services Temporarily Shifted from Srirampura to Mahalakshmipuram Referral Hospital

Bengaluru West City Corporation has temporarily shifted the second-shift 24/7 maternity services from Srirampura Referral Hospital to Mahalakshmipuram Referral Hospital due to the planned redevelopment of the Srirampura facility under the Brand Bengaluru Project.

Key Details:

• Srirampura Referral Hospital, located in Ward No. 139, is expected to undergo demolition and reconstruction.

• The hospital is proposed to be upgraded into a 50-bedded Urban Community Health Centre (UCHC) under the Brand Bengaluru Project.

• Until further orders, the 24/7 maternity services (second shift) currently available at Srirampura Referral Hospital have been temporarily transferred to Mahalakshmipuram Referral Hospital.

• The transfer follows the commencement of Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU) services at Mahalakshmipuram Referral Hospital.

• Revised Maternity Service Timings.

• At Mahalakshmipuram Referral Hospital:

Working Days: 4:00 PM to 9:00 AM

• Holidays: 1:00 PM to 9:00 AM

• At Srirampura Referral Hospital:

Daily: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

• Holidays: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
