The National Pulse Polio Immunization Programme recorded 98.2% vaccination coverage across the Bengaluru North City Corporation (BNCC) limits, with 2,78,880 children below five years receiving Pulse Polio drops on June 28.

- Target children (below 5 years): 2,83,923
- Children vaccinated: 2,78,880
- Coverage achieved: 98.2%
- Vaccinations were carried out through Pulse Polio booths, mobile vaccination teams, and transit points across the Corporation limits.
- The programme was implemented with support from the BNCC Health Department, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, medical staff, and volunteers.
- Pulse Polio vaccination will continue at Corporation Primary Health Centres until July 1.
- Door-to-door visits will also be conducted to vaccinate children who missed the campaign.
- BNCC Commissioner Shri Pommala Sunil Kumar appealed to parents and guardians to cooperate with health workers to help achieve 100% vaccination coverage.
