South Corporation Orders Periodic Auction of Abandoned Vehicles
Bengaluru South City Corporation directed officials to process abandoned vehicles held in dumping yards for periodic auction after completing RTO verification.
Bengaluru South City Corporation directed that abandoned vehicles kept in dumping yards be taken up for periodic auction in accordance with the applicable process.
At the 6 August 2026 review, Additional Commissioner Dr. Naveen Kumar Raju asked Regional Transport Office officials to complete the necessary verification within two days so that disposal could proceed.
The direction concerns vehicles already held in dumping yards. Individual owners and affected persons should rely on formal notices and the competent authority’s records regarding any particular vehicle.
