The Greater Bengaluru Authority conducted an orientation program for Local Private Entrepreneurs (LPEs) at Town Hall, Bengaluru, highlighting the simplified online e-Khata system that allows citizens to apply and receive approvals digitally without visiting government offices.

- Special Commissioner (Revenue & IT) Munish Moudgil stated that the e-Khata system is designed as a simple online process, enabling faster issuance and eliminating the need for physical office visits.

No Need to Visit Offices
- Citizens and LPEs were advised not to visit government offices or approach officials directly for Khata-related issues.
- Authorities also cautioned citizens not to engage middlemen, as the entire process is available online.
Faster Processing
- Around 99% of e-Khata applications are processed within four to five days.
- If an application is not processed within five working days, the system automatically initiates approval, ensuring that requests are not delayed.
