Deploy More Auto Tippers, Speed Up Ejipura Flyover Work: Maheshwar Rao

Chief Commissioner Maheshwar Rao directed officials to strengthen waste management in garbage-prone areas of Yelachenahalli by deploying additional evening auto tippers, improving public awareness, and planning a new transfer station. During the inspection, he also instructed contractors to accelerate the Ejipura Flyover project by deploying more workers and reviewed recently completed road development works at Raghuvanahalli.

• Additional auto tippers will be deployed during evening hours in garbage-prone areas of Yelachenahalli.

• Officials have been instructed to identify locations with recurring garbage accumulation and ensure timely waste collection.

• Cleanliness around the Yelachenahalli Lake garbage transfer point must be maintained, with strict action to prevent roadside dumping.

• Residents have been encouraged to report uncollected garbage or delayed auto tipper services to the Corporation for immediate action.

• Volunteers will conduct awareness campaigns discouraging roadside littering, while violations will attract penalties.

• Officials have been directed to identify vacant land and prioritise the construction of a garbage transfer station for the Yelachenahalli area.

• Asphalting and road marking on the 4.5-km, 80-foot-wide road near KSIT College, Raghuvanahalli, have been completed under the Special Investment Programme (SIP). Footpath development has also been directed.

• The Chief Commissioner instructed the contractor to deploy at least 40 workers daily to speed up construction of the Ejipura Flyover and complete the project within the scheduled timeline.
