The Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has introduced new citizen-focused enhancements to the eKhata system, including the ability to withdraw wrongly submitted applications and modify select property details online. The reforms were announced during a workshop led by Special Commissioner (Revenue & IT) Munish Moudgil at Town Hall, Bengaluru.
Key Details:
- Citizens can now withdraw erroneously submitted eKhata applications through the online system.
- Property owners linked to approximately 13.05 lakh SAS ID-based properties can:
Download eKhata certificates online
- Apply for final eKhata digitally
- Citizens are now allowed to self-modify select property details online, reducing office visits.
- Auto-validation and approval have been enabled for properties marked “ready for transaction/registration” after verification of Encumbrance Certificates (EC).
- Revenue officials were trained on revised workflows and approval mechanisms during the workshop.
