Bengaluru East City Directs Faster Completion of Key Infrastructure Projects

Key Details

• Additional Commissioner Lokhande Snehal Sudhakar conducted site inspections of ongoing infrastructure projects along with officials from the Railway Department, Revenue Department and Bengaluru East City Corporation.
• The inspections focused on reviewing project progress, resolving technical and administrative issues, and addressing land acquisition-related challenges.
• Officials were instructed to complete all pending procedures and ensure projects are delivered within the stipulated timeframe.

Bagmane Junction Development

• The Additional Commissioner reviewed the Suraksha-75 junction improvement works at Bagmane Junction on the Outer Ring Road.
• Officials were directed to maintain quality standards while completing the project on schedule.
• Safety measures, including proper barricading, warning signboards and traffic management arrangements, were instructed to be implemented throughout the construction period.

Carmelaram Railway Over Bridge

• The proposed Railway Over Bridge (ROB) at Level Crossing-132 near Carmelaram Railway Junction was inspected.
• Railway and other concerned departments were instructed to coordinate closely to obtain all necessary technical and administrative approvals without delay.

Kadubeesanahalli–Panathur Road Widening

• The Additional Commissioner inspected the proposed 18-metre road widening project connecting Kadubeesanahalli Road, the Outer Ring Road S-Cross and Panathur.
• Officials were directed to expedite land acquisition, TDR processing and Revenue Department approvals to avoid delays in project implementation.

Administrative Directions

• Departments were instructed to prioritise pending infrastructure-related files and secure required approvals at the earliest.
• Officials were directed to strengthen inter-departmental coordination and immediately address issues affecting project execution.
• Regular site inspections will continue to monitor progress and ensure timely completion while minimising inconvenience to the public.
