BDA Invites Public Objections on Revised Bengaluru Business Corridor / PRR-1 Plan

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has issued a public notification regarding the revision of the Bengaluru Business Corridor (BBC) / Peripheral Ring Road-1 (PRR-1) in the Revised Master Plan 2015 (RMP-2015). The notification places the provisionally approved modifications in the public domain and invites objections and suggestions from citizens and stakeholders.

Key Details:

• The Government has previously approved the revised alignment of the Bengaluru Business Corridor (BBC) / PRR-1.

• The current notification proposes incorporating the revised alignment into the Revised Master Plan 2015 (RMP-2015).

• Maps showing the revised Bengaluru Business Corridor / PRR-1 alignment have been made available for public inspection.

• Along the proposed 100-metre-wide road corridor, land up to 35 metres in width on either side of the alignment is proposed to be permitted for commercial land use, subject to applicable planning regulations.

• The proposed change could significantly impact land-use patterns and future development along the notified corridor.

• The notification has been published to enable the public to review the proposal and submit objections or suggestions within the period specified by the BDA.
