Admissions Open Until July 31 in Bengaluru South City Schools and Colleges

Bengaluru South City Corporation has announced that admissions to its nursery schools, high school, and pre-university college for the 2026–27 academic year will remain open until July 31. Commissioner K. N. Ramesh urged parents who have moved to Bengaluru for employment to make use of the opportunity.

• Bengaluru South City Corporation runs:

5 nursery schools

• 1 high school

• 1 pre-university college

• A total of 519 students have enrolled so far.

98 boys

• 115 girls

• Byrasandra High School:

36 boys

• 33 girls

• Nursery School Admissions

Byrasandra – 84 students

• Koramangala – 30 students

• Marenahalli–Jayanagar – 27 students

• Adugodi – 54 students

• Tavarekere – 42 students

Girls Outnumber Boys in Admissions

Across corporation educational institutions, 272 girls and 247 boys are currently enrolled during the 2026–27 academic year.

Free Facilities for Students

Students admitted to corporation schools and colleges receive:

• Two sets of uniforms

• Shoes and socks

• Sweater

• Textbooks and notebooks

• Midday hot meals

Officials stated that qualified and experienced teachers provide quality education and individual guidance to students.

Cash Awards for Merit Students

The Education Department said that students securing distinction in SSLC and II PUC examinations are eligible for special cash awards from the corporation to encourage academic excellence.
