The Greater Bengaluru Development Department, Government of Karnataka, has reported significant progress under the Safe Footpath Campaign. Over a three-day drive from July 1 to July 3, encroachments were cleared from 202.70 km of footpaths along arterial and sub-arterial roads across the five Bengaluru City Corporations under the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA).
